Bart De Pooter is a culinary entrepreneur, best known for his restaurant Pastorale**, awarded two Michelin stars, a 17/20 rating in the Gault Millau guide, and elected as Belgium’s best vegetable restaurant in 2018.
Bart’s cuisine is marked by balance, simplicity and pureness. Fueled by a passion for hospitality, he creates beautiful places and exceptional food to enjoy.
The vegetables for his restaurants come from his agricultural project ‘Grond Zoekt Boer’. An ecosystem spread over 12 hectares of land, providing ground for ethical and sustainable farming.
